Finance Assistant (80-100%)
Vista Alpina is one of Switzerland's leading eye clinics. Its main location (with a Type I operating theatre) is in the Visp railway station building. Vista Alpina also has three ophthalmology practices in Brig, Siders and Sitten, which are also located near railway stations. With more than 40 specialists, a wide range of services and over 5,000 surgical procedures per year, Vista Alpina covers a large part of the ophthalmological care in Valais.
Vista Alpina is an FMH-accredited training centre and an international reference centre for clinical research. Despite its considerable size, Vista Alpina has managed to retain its family-like atmosphere. To complement and strengthen our team, we are looking for a reliable, discreet and proactive individual to fill the position of Finance Assistant (m/f) 80–100%.
In this varied role, you will support the managing director in his operational activities and report directly to him. As a Finance Assistant, you will have excellent organisational skills and perform a wide range of tasks with great care and competence. The aim is to contribute to the efficiency of the company by carrying out planning and control tasks in a timely and efficient manner. Your main tasks

You will be responsible for preparing licence applications and contracts in the legal department.

You will be responsible for bookkeeping, accounts receivable and accounts payable management, the annual financial statements and various other accounts.

You will be responsible for controlling (compiling specific statistics and monthly reports).

You will play a central role in the operational management of the clinic's day-to-day business (planning agendas, scheduling, planning emergency weeks, capacity planning for surgery and supporting the senior medical practice assistant).

You will maintain the clinic's quality manual.

You will provide operational support in HR management (checking timesheets, preparing salaries, integration, recruitment).

You will conduct the annual patient surveys.
Your profile

You have a degree in business administration, finance and/or law.

You already have more than 2 years of professional experience.

You show initiative and enjoy a wide range of tasks.

You impress with your confident manner.

You work very accurately and have a clear focus on quality.

You impress with your organisational skills.

You have an entrepreneurial personality with a hands-on mentality. You already have experience in a business environment.

You are creative and flexible in your thinking.

You are characterised by a high level of integrity and confidentiality.

You are interested in medicine and in a dynamic clinic organisation.

Your native language is German and you have a good knowledge of French and English.
