Near-sightedness (myopia)
A near-sighted person can see close objects very well.
However, distant objects are blurry. The cause is an excessive refraction power of the cornea or lens in relation to the length of the eye.
Usually, the near-sighted eye has an above average length, so the sharp image does not reach the retina but is in front of the retina.
